There is no button to delete a Blast Audit account yourself. Cancel your subscription, then ask us to delete the account.
Before you close it
Your documents and snips are saved in your Excel workbooks, not in your Blast Audit account. Closing the account does not touch those files: they stay where you keep them. You can still open the documents in them with the add-in's read-only mode.
Export anything else you want to keep, such as the list of users from Users > Export users. Under section 9 of the Terms and Conditions, you are responsible for retrieving and exporting the data and results you want to keep before the account is deleted. After final deletion we cannot guarantee that your data can be recovered, and some elements may be kept for legal or security reasons.
Close the account
- Cancel the subscription. An owner or an admin opens Billing > Open customer portal and cancels. See Manage or cancel your subscription. During a free trial with no payment method there is nothing to cancel: the trial ends by itself.
- Ask us to delete the account. Write to support@blast-audit.com from the email address of the account. Say whether you want your own account deleted or the whole organisation.
Remove one person instead
To remove a colleague rather than the whole firm, an owner or an admin opens Users, selects the person and clicks Remove from organization. Their access stops at once. You cannot remove yourself: ask another owner or admin. The last owner of the organization cannot be removed: first invite a colleague as owner, who can then remove you.
Removing a person does not lower your bill. Reduce your seats in Billing afterwards.
What we keep
Under the Privacy Policy, document content sent for processing (OCR, document analysis and the Excel agent) is deleted at most 24 hours after upload. Account, subscription and usage records are kept as long as needed for billing, accounting and legal obligations, as set out in section 7 of the Privacy Policy. See Where your data is stored.
