Documents ready to read

Drop PDFs, images, Office files, emails, CSV or ZIP archives, up to 100 MB each. Each file is scanned for viruses, converted to PDF and read by OCR. Excel workbooks and CSV files are converted up to 10 MB.

Tasks run without Excel open

Give a task instructions or a procedure, the documents in scope and your workpaper template. The agent works on the server and stops to ask when it needs an answer.

Values with their source

Each value the agent copies from a document carries that document, its page and its line. The server looks for the value on that line, and a value it cannot find becomes a suggestion.

Assign a reviewer

Give a task a reviewer with full access. They approve values, send notes back to the agent and finish the review, which saves a new workpaper version.

Two access levels

Full access imports documents, launches tasks and manages the team. Read only sees the documents and the tasks. Owners and admins see every engagement.

A retention rule you can quote

Content stays while the engagement is open and is deleted at the latest 30 days after it is closed. You can reopen it until its deletion starts.

In detail

What an engagement holds

Your template, your workpaper

The agent fills the firm’s own .xlsx or .xlsm template and keeps everything it did not write. Each saved version can be downloaded.

  • A journal sheet lists the documents read, the cells written, and the questions and answers, up to 500 rows. Past that, it keeps the final status and points to the full thread on the task page.
  • Open a workpaper in Excel, then send it back to the engagement as a new version.

How the agent works

It reads only the engagement’s documents. It adds up totals with a tool instead of in its head, and it ignores instructions written inside documents.

  • Judgment calls come back to you as exceptions to apply or not.
  • Questions arrive as cards you can answer, skip or come back to later.

Activity and reviews

The activity feed shows who added documents, launched a task or finished a review: a member, the agent or the system. “My reviews” gathers your reviews across engagements.

Files from the client

Accepted files from a PBC list can be copied into the engagement without a new upload. Each one keeps a note of the request it came from.

Closing an engagement

Closing makes the engagement read-only and pauses running tasks. An engagement with no activity for 6 months gets a warning. It closes only if it stays inactive for the next 30 days, and any activity clears the warning.

Credits

Tasks use the organization’s AI credits, and each task shows its cost. A run that fails on our side is not charged.

How it works

From documents to a reviewed workpaper

01

Create the engagement

Name it, add the client and invite members with full access or read only.

02

Import the documents

Drop the client’s files. Each one is scanned, converted and read before the agent uses it.

03

Run and review

Start a task from a procedure. If you assign a reviewer, they check the cited values and finish the review.

Questions about engagements

Do I need Excel open to run a task?
No. Tasks run on the server from the engagement’s documents. You can open the workpaper in Excel afterwards and send it back as a new version.
What happens when an engagement is closed?
It becomes read-only and running tasks pause. Its content is deleted at the latest 30 days after it is closed, and you can reopen it until its deletion starts.
Who can see an engagement?
Its members, with full access or read only, and the organization’s owners and admins.
