An assistant that can see the file — without leaving Excel
Blast Audit exposes an MCP server (the open protocol already spoken by Codex, Claude Desktop, and other clients). In the dashboard: MCP connections — an admin creates a token, copies it once, revokes it when needed.
DataSnipper: migrate, then read the report
Open the workbook. A non-blocking banner: “We detected DataSnipper data in this workbook. Do you want to migrate it to Blast Audit?” Original data stays intact. Migrate imports documents and snips. A report follows: Converted, Needs review, Why. You can export it as CSV.
Share the proof, no Blast Audit licence for the recipient
In Documents, or from the ribbon: Share proof. Blast Audit downloads a signed .ba-pack.zip: documents, snip index (sheet, cell, page), SHA-256 hashes for every entry. The recipient does not need a Blast Audit seat. They open the pack in the web reader (browser). Fingerprints are checked on open. A tampered pack raises an alert.
