Create your account and sign in

Create a Blast Audit account with email, Google or Microsoft, sign in from Excel, and know when read-only mode is the right choice.

You sign in to Blast Audit with your work email and a password, or with your Google or Microsoft account. The same account works in the Excel add-in and in the dashboard.

Create an account

  1. In the add-in, click Create an account. You can also start from the pricing page.
  2. Your browser opens on Create your account. Enter your work email and a password, or click Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft.
  3. If you signed up with an email and password, check your inbox for a 6-digit code and enter it on Check your email. If nothing arrives after a few minutes, look in your spam folder and check the address you typed.
  4. Enter your firm's name under What's the firm name? and click Continue.
  5. Start your trial. See Start a trial and invite your team.

The person who creates the firm becomes its owner and manages billing and users.

If a colleague invited you, do not create a new firm. Open the invitation email and accept it, then sign in with the address the invitation was sent to.

Sign in from Excel

  1. Open the add-in from the Blast Audit tab.
  2. On Sign in to Blast Audit, click Sign in.
  3. Your browser opens. Sign in, then click Connect account.
  4. When the page says You can close this tab and return to Excel, go back to Excel. The pane updates by itself.

If the browser page did not open, click Open again in the pane. If your firm uses single sign-on, you are sent to your firm's sign-in page after you enter your email.

If the pane shows Create your workspace, your account is not attached to a firm yet. Click Open workspace setup to finish in the browser, or Use a different account if you signed in with the wrong address.

Read-only mode or sign in?

The sign-in screen also offers Continue in read-only mode. Choose it only to look at documents already saved in a workbook someone sent you, without an account.

How long you stay signed in

In Excel, a session lasts up to 30 days. Clicking Logout on the Blast Audit tab signs you out of the add-in on every device. Signing out of the dashboard does not sign you out of Excel.

Only owners and admins can use the dashboard. Members who open it see Blast Audit runs inside Excel, because their work happens in the add-in.
