See usage by member

What the By member view shows owners and admins, what it leaves out, the 13-month limit, and what to do before you turn it on.

Owners and admins can see Blast Audit usage per member on the Usage & AI credits page of the dashboard, in the By member section. The view is off until an owner or admin turns it on. This page explains what it shows, who sees it and what to do first.

What the view shows

For the period you pick on the Usage page, there is one row per member of your organization with:

  • the number of days with at least one action in Blast Audit
  • documents imported, snips created and matching runs
  • OCR pages and AI runs, with the AI credits they used and their share of the organization total
  • the date of their last activity

Members with no activity in the period stay in the list, marked Inactive, so you can see who has not started using their licence. People who have left the organization are added up in a single Former members row. Click a member to see the same totals split by feature.

What it does not show

  • No document content, and no document or workbook names.
  • No timeline. You get one total per period, not a record of when someone worked.
  • No score and no ranking. You can sort the columns, but the page does not grade anyone.
  • No measure of working time. An active day means that at least one action was recorded that day.

The view is there to follow adoption, manage the shared AI credit and OCR pools, and plan licences and billing. It is not a tool for evaluating anyone's performance.

Who can see it

Only the owners and admins of your organization, in the dashboard. Members do not see the Usage page.

How far back it goes

A period can start at most 13 months before today. If you pick an older start date, the section asks you to choose a later one. Per-member detail reads over at least 28 days and at most the last 13 months. For a shorter period, the section asks you to pick a longer one.

Turn it on or off

  1. Open Usage & AI credits in the dashboard.
  2. In By member, click Enable per-member detail.
  3. Read the summary, tick the box confirming that you have informed the people concerned and, where required, consulted staff representatives, then click Enable per-member detail.

To turn it off, click Settings in the By member section, then Turn off per-member detail. The per-member figures disappear at once for every owner and admin. Organization totals stay. The settings window shows who changed the setting last, and when.

While the view is off, the AI credits card does not list usage by user either.

Before you turn it on

Your organization decides whether to use this view and is responsible for how it is used. For this data, your organization is the data controller, and Blast Audit processes it on your organization's instructions.

Before you turn it on:

  • Tell each person concerned what the view shows, who can see it and why you use it.
  • In France, consult the CSE (comité social et économique) if your organization has one.
  • In Germany, obtain the agreement of the Betriebsrat if your organization has one.
  • In other countries, check whether similar rules apply to you.

These are practical steps, not legal advice. If you are unsure, ask your legal adviser or your data protection officer.

The CSV export

Export CSV downloads the table for the selected period. Once downloaded, the file is your organization's responsibility: store and share it as you would any other staff data.

Questions from members

Members who want to know what is recorded about them, or who want to exercise their data protection rights, contact their organization, which handles the request.
