What's New
- AI Extractions in Excel — AI Extractions now has a dedicated workspace in Excel. Tell Blast Audit what you need in plain language, review the structure it suggests, choose the documents to search, and write the results straight back to Excel.
- Reusable extraction templates — Save an extraction once, reopen it later, and reuse the same setup on future engagements.
Improvements
- Extraction results are easier to review — Nested fields can now be flattened into cleaner Excel columns, with citation snippets to help you verify each result.
- Probe adds stronger grounded answers — Batch runs now write one result column per document and open supporting evidence more reliably.
- Snippet review is clearer in the document viewer — Snips now use type-colored outlines, preview badges, and inline word highlights so you can spot the right capture faster.
- Version comparison is more reliable — OCR readiness is handled more accurately, duplicate document names no longer confuse the comparison, and Excel export completes correctly from the dialog.
- Document Matching is more reliable — Matching runs handle OCR identity and duplicate document names more safely.
- Document management is safer with duplicate names — Delete, move, and folder cleanup actions now target the correct document even when several files share the same name or a file has no OCR yet.
- Form Extraction is smoother — The PDF toolbar is back where you need it, and folder selection is more reliable.
- Public pages are cleaner — The website and changelog pages now ship cleaner prerendered HTML and stronger localized metadata.
Security & Reliability
- Extraction runs and writing results back to Excel are safer during reruns, manual adjustments, and larger workbooks.
- Error handling and monitoring were strengthened across the add-in and dashboard for faster recovery when something goes wrong.
